Position – Product Engineer (Design )–AUTOMOBILE Background

المسؤوليات

• Reporting To: Product Development Manager
• Work on automotive parts development for both aesthetic and utility products.
• Coordinate with the Product Development team to finalize product ideas.
• Check product installation feasibility and prepare the design accordingly.
• Convert Images, Sketches, or Drawings to a 3D model.
• Create 3D models based on scan data (Mesh file / STL File).
• Convert 3D simulation to an engineered product, including A-surface and B-surface creation.
• Create detailed 2D drawings as per automotive industry standards and customer requirements.
• Define product material for each kit component.
• Prepare installation manuals for the products.
• Justify design performance with CAD tools (e.g., FEA Analysis).

Skills

• Understanding of Automotive interior and exterior parts engineering and installation.
• Understanding of automotive standards and regulations.
• Able to perform reverse engineering from scan data or physical parts (Mesh to CAD / STL to STP or IGES).
• Knowledge of materials (plastics and metal) and their manufacturing processes.
• Able to predict expected failures in production or on the field and implement design changes accordingly.
