We are looking for a highly skilled Assistant Resident Engineer – Iconic/Interchange Stations with 15 – 18 years of experience in the construction and management of Iconic/Interchange Stations for metro or large-scale infrastructure projects.

المسؤوليات

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day construction activities for Iconic/Interchange Stations.
• Coordinate and collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and design teams.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and safety requirements.
• Supervise all aspects of Iconic/Interchange Stations construction.
• Monitor the overall progress of construction and ensure that any delays, disruptions, or issues are addressed and mitigated in a timely manner.
• Review and approve construction method statements, work plans, and technical submittals related to the Iconic/Interchange Stations.
• Perform regular site inspections and quality control checks.
• Act as the primary point of contact for any site-related technical queries and provide expert guidance and solutions to the team.
• Maintain detailed records of site activities.
• Ensure that all work complies with environmental, health, safety, and welfare standards.
• Liaise with the project management team to align construction activities with the overall project schedule and milestones.
• Coordinate the preparation and implementation of risk management plans.
• Lead and supervise the resolution of technical and engineering issues.
• Ensure proper document control and manage the submission of as-built drawings, inspection reports, and other project-related documentation.
• Review contractor progress claims, variations, and payments.
• Facilitate the commissioning and handover process for the Iconic/Interchange Stations.

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
• 15 – 18 years of relevant experience in the construction of Iconic/Interchange Stations.
• In-depth knowledge of Iconic/Interchange Stations construction.
• Strong understanding of local regulations, safety standards, and quality control measures in the UAE.
• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
• Proficiency in project management software, construction scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Valid UAE driver’s license (preferred).
