Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Associate Director of Sales – MICE & Leisure to lead the growth and performance of these key segments for Palazzo Versace Dubai. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Events, the role will be responsible for driving revenue, strengthening client relationships, and positioning the hotel as a market leader within the luxury MICE and Leisure sectors. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise, strong leadership, and in-depth market knowledge to maximize opportunities and deliver sustainable results.

Strategic Sales Leadership

Develop and execute a clear sales strategy for the MICE and Leisure segments, aligned with the overall business objectives of the hotel.

Identify, target, and secure high-value accounts while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients.

Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.

Ensure proactive account management by maximizing potential revenue and driving conversion.

Team Leadership & Development

Provide guidance, coaching, and support to the sales team to achieve financial and non-financial objectives.

Ensure team members are fully trained in hotel positioning, brand standards, and effective selling techniques.

Monitor individual and team performance, identify skills gaps, and implement development programs where necessary.

Business Performance & Operations

Oversee sales activities and ensure departmental KPIs are consistently achieved or exceeded.

Maintain accurate reporting on account production, revenue forecasts, and strategic action plans.

Collaborate with Revenue, Marketing, and Events teams to maximize cross-segment synergies and enhance overall business performance.

Ensure adherence to departmental budgets, cost controls, and efficient expenditure approvals.

Client Engagement & Representation

Represent the hotel at industry events, exhibitions, roadshows, and client meetings to strengthen brand presence.

Lead site inspections, client entertainment, and familiarization trips to showcase the hotel’s offerings.

Design and implement targeted promotions and packages to stimulate demand during need periods.

Maintain the highest standards of client relationship management, ensuring loyalty and repeat business.
Candidate Profile

Minimum 5 years of progressive sales leadership experience in luxury hospitality, with a focus on MICE and Leisure segments .

Proven track record in driving revenue growth and expanding market share.

Strong UAE market knowledge and established network of key accounts.

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.

Highly analytical, organized, and results-oriented, with strong business acumen.

Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a strong advantage.
