Position Title: Associate or Full Professor in Management

Department: Dubai Business School

Qualification Requirements:

• Doctorate degree or PhD from an accredited institution at the time of appointment
• A demonstrated record of research publication and teaching excellence in the relevant field
• Practical experience in the relevant field (advantageous)
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Attributes:

• Ability to involve and engage students in teaching, with course objectives, content, and assessments closely interlinked
• Experience and/or interest in developing varied learning methods and digital tools in teaching
• Research results published in recognized publications, with references indicating progression in research and publications
• Ability to initiate, obtain external funding, lead, and carry out research and development projects
• Experience of partnerships with relevant businesses
• Contributions to the use of research-based knowledge in society, including innovation and commercialization of research
• Ability to build and maintain professional networks nationally, regionally, and internationally
• Motivation to contribute to academic and interdisciplinary collaboration at the university
• Good teamwork and communication skills, contributing to a constructive working environment
