Category Lead – Fit Out and FM | Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions | UAE

Role Summary

The role is responsible for strategically sourcing products and services across multiple Majid Al Futtaim Operating Companies, managing sourcing activities, and driving cost-saving initiatives. This includes developing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and overseeing supplier relationships to meet annual budget and savings targets while ensuring compliance with legal and internal policies.

Role Profile

• Develop and deliver the strategic roadmap and annual budget for relevant categories in collaboration with the Business, Procurement Director, and Head of Procurement.
• Create and implement sourcing strategies at the project level, ensuring compliance with legal, internal policies, and business goals.
• Manage and lead sourcing activities for new project developments, ensuring key milestones and timelines are met.
• Identify opportunities for consolidation, standardization, and scoping to drive cost improvements.
• Analyze supplier offers and assess the total cost of ownership (TCO) to optimize sourcing decisions.
• Meet or exceed annual sourcing goals and savings targets for Majid Al Futtaim spend.
• Negotiate pricing and finalize commercial supply agreements/contracts in close collaboration with Majid Al Futtaim Legal.
• Continuously analyze market trends, manage supplier relationships, and report on sourcing strategies to improve procurement processes and meet KPIs and SLAs.

المتطلبات

• Experience in large procurement organizations, managing sourcing activities, and working with shared services for smooth processes.
• Skilled in spend analysis, strategy development, and understanding contracts, laws, and risk management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-focused skills, with experience using E-sourcing platforms (ORACLE, ARIBA, COUPA).
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role as a senior Manager, with good problem-solving and team management abilities.
