Role Overview

As a Consultant / Specialist Psychiatrist in Dubai, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive psychiatric care across outpatient and inpatient settings, managing a wide spectrum of mental health conditions while working alongside a multidisciplinary clinical team.

المهام الأساسية

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status examinations, risk evaluations, and diagnostic assessments
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, and substance use disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating both pharmacological and psychotherapeutic approaches
• Provide crisis intervention and acute psychiatric care when required
• Collaborate with psychologists, counselors, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans and medications, and ensure optimal clinical outcomes
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with DHA and international standards
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and preventive strategies
• Participate in clinical governance activities, audits, and continuous professional development initiatives
• Contribute to service development, mental health awareness initiatives, and community outreach programs

Eligibility & Board Recognition

• American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
• UK CCT / GMC Specialist Register
• European Board Certification

• Minimum 3–5+ years post‑board experience preferred
• DHA license eligibility or active license an advantage
