A leading commodity trading firm in Dubai is seeking a Contract Specialist to support the Legal Department in managing contract negotiations drafting and contract compliance . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management and legal documentation .

This role requires a detailoriented professional with experience in contract law and commodity trading agreements ensuring that all contracts align with legal and regulatory requirements.

المهام الأساسية

Contract Drafting & Negotiation

• Draft review and negotiate commodity trading contracts sales agreements and shipping documents .
• Ensure contracts align with company policies trading regulations and industry standards .
• Assist in contract and resolve contractual discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams.

Legal & Compliance Support

• Work closely with the Legal Department to ensure compliance with international trade laws and UAE regulations .
• Support the interpretation and application of legal clauses related to commodity trading contracts.
• Monitor and advise on risk mitigation strategies related to contracts and trade deals.

Contract

• Assist with contract for commodity trading logistics and shipping operations.
• Coordinate with traders legal counsel and shipping teams to ensure smooth contract fulfillment.
• Review and verify incoterms shipping terms payment terms and delivery schedules .

Documentation & Records Management

• Maintain and update contract templates legal databases and trading documentation .
• Ensure proper recordkeeping of executed contracts and amendments.
• Prepare reports on contract performance legal risks and compliance issues .

Candidate Requirements

الخبرة:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in commodity trading with at least 1 year in contract management legal affairs or commodity shipping operations .
• Experience handling trading contracts shipping agreements and risk assessments in a fastpaced trading environment.

Education & Certification:

• Bachelors degree in Law Business Administration International Trade or a related field Required.
• Legal certification or specialization in contract law or trade regulations is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of contract law commodity trading agreements and shipping operations .
• Excellent attention to detail and contract negotiation skills .
• Ability to analyze risks and ensure regulatory compliance in commodity trading.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple contracts.
• Proficiency in legal documentation trade regulations and contract management software .
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages such as Arabic or Russian are a plus.
