Overview

As a Consultant Dermatologist you will offer specialized dermatological services to patients. You will develop and implement treatment plans, make clinical judgments, and manage a wide range of skin conditions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in promoting patient satisfaction and delivering high-quality care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations and physical examinations of patients with skin conditions
• Perform diagnostic tests and procedures such as skin biopsies, patch testing, and allergy testing
• Prescribe and administer topical and oral medications as well as advanced treatments such as chemical peels, dermal fillers, and laser therapy
• Collaborate with other specialists and healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Provide patient education and counseling on skin care and the prevention of skin diseases
• Participate in clinical research and stay updated with the latest advancements in dermatology
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with medical standards and guidelines
• Lead and supervise a team of junior doctors, nurses, and technicians

Qualifications and requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience as a consultant dermatologist in a reputable hospital
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
