Job Purpose

  • Provide the portfolio of HNW clients with personalized service to develop close relationships, achieve maximum profitable contribution for both client and bank, and retain their loyalty and respect.
  • Enhance Private Banking sales/revenues and promote the cross‑selling of bank products to existing clients.
  • Source new business of Super HNW individuals through referrals, marketing activities, and personal contacts.
  • Ensure clients are aware of all financial services offered by the bank’s departments—TCM, Trade Finance, Mortgage, Corporate Finance, etc.

Key Result Areas

  • Optimize the potential value of the client base through delivery of Private Banking products and services and actively identify new customers.
  • Communicate with HNW clients to structure advice based on their needs.
  • Recognize opportunities to partner with other bank professionals to service client needs and maximize bank revenues.
  • Maximize profitability from the Private Banking base whilst countering competition from alternative investment/WM providers.
  • Safeguard the bank from potential loss, AML fraud, and ensure ethical behavior.
  • Safeguard the banks’ reputation by ensuring ethical professional behavior at all times before, during, and after sales.
  • Enhance market profile and awareness.
  • Achieve revenue goals, sales, and portfolio growth targets across a range of products and services (Investments, Term Deposits, CASA balances, TCM, FX trading, share financing, etc.).
  • Acquire new to bank NHW clients.
  • Maintain a superior customer service experience for clients, including pre‑empting issues and proactive servicing.
  • Minimize customer attrition.
  • Maintain proactive client contact.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • University Graduate.
  • Strong numerical, selling, and investment/financial market knowledge.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
  • Relationship management and networking skills; extrovert/amiable personality.
  • Minimum 12–15 years’ experience in a similar role with another bank/financial services company in the UAE, and certification from the Securities & Commodities Authority (SCA) for selling investments.
  • Behavioral competencies.
