Roles and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer for our Security Solutions team.

As an Estimation Engineer you will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimations and technical solutions for a range of security systems and technologies including access control, surveillance, intrusion detection and other related security products and services.

• Conduct detailed assessments of project specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for security solutions and ELV systems.
• Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to clarify requirements and ensure alignment on project scope and objectives.
• Analyze historical data and market trends to benchmark costs and optimize bidding strategies for security system installations.
• Prepare comprehensive tender documents including technical and financial proposals, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive pricing and adherence to quality standards for security products.
• Utilize advanced estimation software and tools to streamline the estimation process, enhancing accuracy and efficiency.
• Participate in project meetings to provide insights on cost implications and recommend value‑engineering opportunities.
• Maintain updated knowledge of emerging technologies and regulations in security solutions to inform estimation practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelors degree in Engineering preferably in Electrical Electronics or a related field to ensure a strong technical foundation.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in estimating security solutions and ELV systems demonstrating a track record of successful project delivery.
• Experience in working with major security systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarms) and knowledge of industry standards.
• Demonstrated proficiency in estimation software such as Bluebeam, AutoCAD or specialized security estimation tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions on project costs.
• Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and clients.
• Proven negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers and subcontractors, enhancing project profitability.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively without compromising quality.
• A proactive approach and a strong problem‑solving mindset to navigate challenges and drive project success.
