Overview

We’re Hiring: Event Assistant (4-Month Contract)

  • الموقع : Dubai
  • Duration : 4 Months (Immediate Start)
  • الخبرة : 2+ Years in Events Industry (Mandatory)
  • Visa : Candidates with their own visa are mandatory
  • Work Mode : 4 days in office + 1 day WFH (flexible WFH day)
  • Working Hours : 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (flexible: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Our client, a leading organizer of B2B events and exhibitions, is looking for a passionate Event Assistant to join their team and support the World Health Expo. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international event management and work alongside industry leaders in healthcare exhibitions.

About the Role

As an Event Assistant , you will provide essential coordination and administrative support to ensure the smooth planning, execution, and follow-up of large-scale healthcare events. You will collaborate closely with the Event Management Team and senior directors, gaining valuable exposure to both operational and executive-level tasks.

What You’ll Do

Event Management & Coordination (50%)

  • Support planning, execution, and delivery of major healthcare events.
  • Coordinate with vendors, exhibitors, sponsors, and internal teams.
  • Assist with event logistics, registration, and VIP hosting.
  • Prepare running orders, event briefs, and post-event reports.
  • Track contracts, invoices, and supplier payments.

Executive & Administrative Support (50%)

  • Handle official correspondence and document preparation.
  • Manage meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, and visa arrangements.
  • Support expense reporting and filing.

What Were Looking For

  • 1-2 years of experience in events, administration, or executive support.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and project management tools (Asana, Trello, Cvent).
  • Professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
