This well-reputed Design Engineering consultancy is seeking a Facade Consultant to join their growing team in Dubai.

Reporting to the Facade Engineering Director, the Senior Facade Consultant will be responsible for:

1. Providing technical input at project level, including generating reports, specifications, and reviewing submissions.
2. Conducting technical checks of documents produced by team members.
3. Bidding on new projects, both façade-standalone and as part of a multi-disciplinary group.
4. Providing technical scope for bids, including pricing information, and following up as required.
5. Hands-on design work and interfacing with external Architects, Engineers, and Contractors.
6. Managing design and technical excellence within the façade department, with support from the Director.
7. Controlling risks associated with submitted technical documents.
8. Managing costs and resources at the project level.
9. Preparing monthly project invoices and ensuring cash collection for projects under direct management.
10. Assisting in recruiting, developing, and training junior façade staff in the future.

The successful applicant should have around 10-15 years of post-graduation experience from an Engineering, Construction, or Architecture degree, preferably with recent experience in the Middle East/UAE.

A Postgraduate Degree in Façade Engineering would be highly advantageous.

Experience in façade consulting, architecture (with extensive involvement in façade design or management), within a reputed design consultancy.

Knowledge of AutoCAD, 3D modelling tools, Revit, and structural design software (Strand, Staad, Mepla, etc.) would be highly beneficial.

Experience working on high-rise, hotel, retail, and mixed-use development projects in a façade design capacity is preferred.

Excellent communication skills and polished presentation abilities are required, as this role involves client-facing interactions and liaising with external consultants and internal teams.
