About the Role

We seek a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our expanding IT distribution business in the GCC. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in finance within inventory-heavy environments and be capable of driving strategic decisions through financial insights. This role is newly created due to significant growth, and the candidate should be available in UAE with immediate availability.

المهام الأساسية

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial policies.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Monitor, analyze, and control operational and overhead expenses.
• Manage country office expenses to meet budget and cost-efficiency targets.
• Ensure expenses are pre-approved and within budget, highlighting exceptions to management.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Follow up and reconcile vendor rebates, coordinating with purchasing and sales teams.
• Prepare and analyze segmental profitability reports quarterly.
• Coordinate with external auditors and implement audit recommendations.
• Supervise and mentor junior finance team members.
• Maintain relationships with banks, auditors, and stakeholders.
• Provide financial analysis and support to senior management.
• Contribute to corporate tax planning complying with UAE regulations.
• File VAT returns accurately and timely.

Qualifications

8–10 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in IT distribution or trading sectors.
