About the job

gTech’s Product and Tools Operations team (gPTO) leverages deep user, operational, and technical insights to innovate Google’s Ads products into customer experiences that are so intuitive (or automated) that they require no support at all. gPTO partners closely with gTech’s Support, Professional Services, Product Management, and Engineering teams to innovate and simplify our Ads products and build the productivity tools ecosystem for gTech users.

The Marketing Technology and Operations team powers the systems and tools that enable Google’s global marketing efforts. As a Global Product Lead, you will drive the technical execution, business strategy, and product roadmap for Marketing Technology (MarTech) solutions that support our acquisition, and product adoption campaigns. You will ensure we build, user-centric tools that help Ads marketers launch campaigns efficiently and effectively.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining the future of how Google manages its global performance marketing investments. You will leverage your expertise in systems design and paid media to lead the development of an automated intelligence framework, transforming manual data analysis into a proactive system that detects performance anomalies and identifies their root causes in real-time. You will act as a strategic bridge between marketing and engineering, ensuring that data-driven insights are directly integrated into our automated budget management tools.

Collaborating closely with Ads Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering, you will bridge the gap between technical execution and business objectives. You will lead the commercialization of new solutions, influence cross-functional teams to align resources, and manage the operational cadence to ensure the successful delivery of high-impact marketing capabilities.

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google’s products solve the world’s problems–from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can–changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.
