About the Role

On behalf of a reputable school in Al Ain Abu Dhabi we are seeking a passionate and committed Head English Department (HOD) to join their academic team. This opportunity is ideal for educators with strong communication skills and a dedication to delivering impactful language instruction. An ADEK-approved qualification is required.

المهام الأساسية

• Lead and oversee the English Department ensuring excellence in teaching learning and student performance.
• Develop and implement English curriculum and teaching strategies aligned with ADEK standards.
• Mentor support and evaluate English teaching staff.
• Monitor student progress and initiate academic support strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with school leadership to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
• Promote innovative learning techniques and encourage a professional culture of collaboration.
• Participate in school-wide events strategic planning and academic initiatives.

المتطلبات

• Native English speaker or fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills
• ADEK-approved teaching certification (mandatory)
• Bachelor s or Master s degree in English Language Literature Education or related field
• Proven experience as an English teacher with leadership or department head experience
• Strong understanding of curriculum standards instructional planning and team management
• Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills
• Nationality: Open to all nationalities
