About the Role We are looking for a strategic and technically accomplished Head of Global Infrastructure & Operations to lead our global infrastructure systems and drive operational excellence. This leadership role is critical in supporting our real‑time communication platform by ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams including engineering, product, security, and compliance to execute on our global infrastructure vision.

Main Responsibilities

Infrastructure Leadership

• Define and execute a global infrastructure and cloud strategy (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Architect scalable, secure, and highly available systems
• Oversee deployment, monitoring, disaster recovery, and incident response globally

Operational Excellence

• Lead global DevOps, SRE, and IT Operations teams
• Ensure 24/7 system monitoring and robust incident response procedures
• Own SLAs, performance, and uptime metrics for internal and customer‑facing systems
• Implement ITSM best practices (incident, change, capacity management)

Security & Compliance

• Partner with security teams to ensure compliance (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI‑DSS, GDPR)
• Oversee patch management, secure configuration, and infrastructure monitoring

Scalability & Automation

• Drive automation across CI/CD, infrastructure provisioning (IaC), and observability
• Lead capacity planning and performance optimization efforts

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Compliance, Legal, and external vendors
• Align infrastructure with business goals and feature delivery timelines

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and mentor global cross‑functional teams
• Communicate technical concepts to executive and non‑technical stakeholders

Your Experience

We expect you to have strong expertise in the following areas:

• 10 years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering
• 5 years in a senior leadership role managing global operations
• Proven experience in real‑time communication, telecom, or SaaS platforms
• Deep understanding of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), Kubernetes, Terraform
• Expertise in incident management, SRE, and observability practices
• Track record of meeting regulatory and compliance requirements globally
• Experience with hybrid‑cloud or multi‑region deployments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
