Our client is looking for a Head of Traditional Trade, based in Dubai, to lead and drive the traditional trade channel across the UAE.

This role will be responsible for developing and executing channel strategy, driving distribution, and ensuring strong in-market execution across traditional trade.

You will oversee large-scale field operations, optimise route-to-market strategies, and ensure consistent performance across the channel.

You will also work closely with sales, trade marketing, and supply chain teams to deliver growth, strengthen market presence, and drive operational excellence.

The Client’s Definition of the Ideal Fit

  • 8+ years of solid, recent FMCG experience in traditional trade is a must.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale van sales operations in the GCC (recently) is non-negotiable.
  • Strong expertise in route-to-market strategy, distribution expansion, and field execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large sales teams and drive channel performance.
  • Strong understanding of traditional trade dynamics and market execution.
  • Excellent leadership, execution, and stakeholder management skills.
