Job Description of Java Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team in Dubai. In this role, you will provide technical support for Java-based applications, troubleshoot complex issues, and work closely with development teams to maintain and enhance system performance. Key Responsibilities of Java Support Engineer

Provide L2/L3 support for Java-based enterprise applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
Collaborate with developers and QA teams to implement fixes and improvements.
Monitor application performance and ensure high availability.
Create and maintain technical documentation, incident reports, and support runbooks.
Participate in release and deployment activities.
Assist in root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

Qualification Required for Java Support Engineer

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Java application support.
Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs.
Experience with application servers (e.g., Tomcat, WebLogic).
Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.
Hands-on experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
