Summary

Scientific Exchange and Medical Expertise: Serve as a key point of contact for healthcare professionals (HCPs) providing accurate medical and scientific information on Viatris pipeline products. Effectively communicate and manage drug safety issues and foster strong partnerships with HCPs to support medical and scientific collaboration.

Clinical and Research Support: Contribute to the development and the in-country clinical plans. Support clinical research activities including study feasibility, site identification and coordination while ensuring compliance with regulations and Viatris policies.

Training and Compliance: Provide training to internal teams such as Sales Representatives and ensure all activities adhere to Viatris business policies, SOPs and regulatory requirements. Facilitate expanded access programs and named patient supply initiatives in alignment with ethical and legal standards.

المهام الأساسية

Key role will be to identify and foster constructive relationships by providing deep medical & scientific expertise to support healthcare professionals, professional associations, patient advocacy groups and other relevant decision makers pertaining Viatris products. These includes the following responsibilities:

  • Acquire and maintain in-depth scientific expertise of Viatris medicines within nominated therapy area as well as of key competitors (including those in R&D).
  • Provide medical and scientific information to HCPs and other healthcare stakeholders in GCC countries. Interactions will be in-person and/or remotely via scientific data presentation on new products or those in development.
  • Liaise with HCPs to effectively communicate new mechanism of actions, manage product safety and clinical efficacy with accurate balance, up-to-date data.
  • Develop, maintain and advocate for HCPs in scientific imperatives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and high-quality scientific exchange bringing insights into the organization to shape strategy and in-country clinical plans.
  • Identify data gaps for pipelines/assets and support developing local real-world evidence (RWE) for value of Viatris products and market access.
  • Support study site identification and feasibility led by the clinical research team and ensure effective implementation of the clinical plan.
  • Develop a strong network of professional relations with national clinicians and researchers.
  • Interact with clinicians and investigators for named patient and expanded access programs during preapproval phase; support named patient supply in accordance with country regulations and Viatris policies.
  • Provide training to sales representatives as required and ensure all activities comply with Viatris policies and SOPs.
  • Develop and maintain crossfunctional working relationships with Viatris colleagues within the country and above.
  • Operate under the general direction of the Medical Director and Senior Medical Manager.

Minimum qualifications

Education: Doctorate or Bachelor’s in Medicine or a Clinical Pharmacist. Minimum 3 years of medical or commercial affairs experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company.
