About the Role

As a Data Scientist in Yassir’s AI team, you will work on high‑impact projects such as Dynamic Pricing, Trip Dispatching, Fraud Detection, and Personalization. Your work will involve predictive modeling, feature engineering, model deployment, and monitoring.

The Team

The AI team is part of the central Data & AI domain, collaborating with Data Engineering, Data Platform, Analytics, and MLOps to build scalable AI solutions.

المهام الأساسية

• Act as a subject‑matter expert and thought leader within your scope.
• Identify and propose ML opportunities across pricing, dispatch, fraud, and recommendation services.
• Support requirement definition, prioritization, and cross‑functional collaboration with Engineering and Product.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and statistical modeling.
• Train, validate, tune, and deploy ML models using our MLOps infrastructure.
• Monitor models for performance, business impact, and data drift.
• Communicate technical solutions in a business‑friendly manner.
• Maintain and improve technical documentation and developer guidelines.
• Promote data quality and data culture across teams.

Key Requirements – Essential

• Mastery of mathematics, statistics, machine learning, and software development (at least a Master’s degree).
• Strong Python and SQL coding skills with 2+ years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in software engineering concepts (profiling, optimization, testing).
• Experience with statistical testing, causal analysis, and visualization tools.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and end‑to‑end ML lifecycle.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills in English.
• Positive attitude, resilience, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivation and independent project management.

Nice to Have

• Experience with mobility, financial services, or on‑demand platforms.
• Experience building ML features for digital products.
• Background in pricing/economics, fraud detection, dispatch, or personalization projects.
