Essential: Qualification & Skills required

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or relevant field
• CCNP Enterprise
• CCNP Datacenter
• CCNP Security or FCP or PCNSA
• Minimum 7 years of experience in networking and security fields

Desirable

• ITIL certified
• CCIE

Essential: Technical capabilities

• Thorough understanding and experience in network LAN solutions and technologies, including campus switching, complex multi routing, WAN, SD-WAN, PBR, non-blocking datacenter technologies
• Advanced understanding of wireless technologies, including wireless profiles, RF, 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies
• Thorough understanding and experience in designing, manipulating and troubleshooting routing protocols and technologies including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, IS-IS, MPLS, and redistribution
• Expert in designing and troubleshooting advanced switching protocols (STP, port-channels, VPC, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP)
• Thorough understanding and experience on security solutions (IPS/IDS, firewalls, WAF & CDN encryption, decryption, SSL off-loading, IPSEC and SSL VPNs)
• Advanced knowledge and experience with security observability and automation platforms (SOAR, XDR)
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in Multi-Pod Cisco ACI environment
• Experience with Cisco Intent-based networking (Cisco DNA) and Meraki platforms
• Advanced knowledge and experience in Cloud, Datacenter networking, computing, and security
• Advanced knowledge and experience on L2/L3 multicast and streaming protocols (PIM, IGMP, RP)
• Experience in IP-Telephony solutions
• Experience on multiple monitoring and reporting platforms (Riverbed, ManageEngine SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix)
• Working experience with ITIL frameworks

Hands-on platforms

• Cisco Catalyst and Nexus (ACI and NX-OS modes)
• Aruba, Cisco, and Ruckus enterprise wireless systems
• WAF and ADC solutions (Citrix, F5, Sophos, and Azure Gateway)
• Fortinet, Palo Alto, FTD, Juniper, and Sophos Next-Gen Firewalls
• Cisco and FortiGate SD-WAN solutions and platforms
• Cisco ISR routers
• Blade-switching (Oracle Exadata, Synergy, IBM-Blade)
• Cisco and Ribbon enterprise telephony systems and voice gateways
• Aruba ClearPass, Cisco ISE, and NetScout NAC and AAA solutions
