• Monitor, maintain, and control Furnace process parameters from batch hopper, batch charger, doghouse, melter, refiner, and up to canal.
• Accomplish Furnace Inspection Check sheet and promptly report details in case of deviation.
• Inspect regenerators, Furnace sidewalls & bottom, combustion blowers, melting of batch piles, batch chargers, Furnace control system, reversals, refractory gates position and its condition, burner firing and flame condition, gas leakages, glass level.
• Conduct visual inspection and check sheet recording in and around the Float Bath and Lehr.
• Perform and attend to required adjustments as instructed by superior.
• Responsible in keeping set target parameters in bath, lehr and coating.
• Report feedback to superior on any deviation in process or installation safety.
• Measuring Annealing lehr temperatures manually to cross check online indicators.
• Monitoring glass surface quality and perform preventive and corrective measures to minimize appearance of defects.
• Maintain record of measured parameters and report same for analysis & improvements.
• Organizing tools for special jobs and execution of Tin bath, Lehr and Coating maintenance and operational activities.
• Transfer, load and prepare slurry batch for Coating operations.

Knowledge, Training and Experience Required for Job

الخبرة:

Minimum 3 years in any process industry preferably from Float Glass manufacturing.

Language Skills:

Written and verbal communication in English.

Working Conditions:

Work requires good technical and coordination skills as well as mechanically inclined ability. Requires good observation skills and initiative.
