Position Overview

Timber is a tech-powered accounting and tax solution tailored for SMBs in the GCC region. We combine automation, expert advisory, and AI-driven insights to simplify financial operations, ensure compliance with local tax laws, and empower businesses to focus on growth. Our vision is to become the go-to partner for accounting and tax filing in the GCC, driving innovation in a traditionally manual industry.

المهام الأساسية

  • Identify & Develop Strategic Partnerships: Proactively source, evaluate, and build relationships with potential partners including law firms, financial institutions, technology providers, and business consultants to drive mutual growth.
  • Partnership Strategy & Execution: Design and implement a partnerships roadmap aligned with the firm’s growth objectives and service offerings, especially in audit, tax, advisory, and corporate services.
  • Client & Partner Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for partners, nurturing long-term relationships that support client referrals, joint ventures, and co-branded initiatives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with internal departments such as business development, marketing, legal, and service delivery teams to ensure seamless integration of partnerships.
  • Market Intelligence & Networking: Stay up-to-date with market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes in the UAE and wider GCC to identify new partnership opportunities.
  • Proposal Development & Negotiation: Lead partnership proposal development, including value propositions, MOUs, and commercial terms; drive negotiations to successful outcomes.
  • Brand Representation: Represent the firm at networking events, business councils, industry conferences, and partner meetings across the UAE and GCC.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances, preferably within the professional services, accounting, or financial sector.
  • Prior experience working in or with accounting, audit, tax, or consulting firms in the UAE or GCC region is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the UAE market, including local business culture, regulatory environment, and key industry players.
  • Proven track record of initiating, negotiating, and managing successful partnerships that drive business growth and client acquisition.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior executives and external partners.
