In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for patients experiencing physical limitations due to medical conditions or injuries. Your expertise will be critical in helping patients regain their independence and improve their overall quality of life.

• Conduct detailed patient assessments to create customized rehabilitation programs that address individual needs.
• Design and implement effective treatment plans that may include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and pain management strategies.
• Continuously evaluate and modify treatment approaches based on patient progress and feedback.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care and support to patients.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, progress expectations, and self-management techniques.
• Stay updated on advancements within the field to incorporate best practices into patient care.
• Contribute to research initiatives or quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing rehabilitation services.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Qualifications

• D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is required.
• Active medical license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation.
• In‑depth knowledge of diverse physical disabilities and treatments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to engage with patients and colleagues effectively.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
• Commitment to continuous education and development in the field.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
