Job Description of Piping Designer / Senior Piping Designer

We are seeking a Piping Designer / Senior Piping Designer to join a high-impact engineering team in Abu Dhabi. This role is essential for developing and executing complex piping designs for oil & gas or industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of design codes, engineering principles, and project execution workflows. You will collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate, safe, and cost-effective piping systems.

Key Responsibilities of Piping Designer / Senior Piping Designer

Create plot plans, piping layouts, isometrics & equipment layouts for oil & gas facilities
Develop & review GA drawings, MTOs, and detailed 3D models
Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts
Coordinate with piping engineers and cross-discipline teams
Ensure compliance with ASME B31.3, ADNOC & project-specific standards

Qualification Required for Piping Designer / Senior Piping Designer

BSc in Mechanical Engineering or related field
10 years experience in piping design (offshore preferred)
Advanced skills in SmartPlant 3D, E3D, AutoCAD
Strong understanding of piping codes, materials & specifications
Fluent in English
