The candidate should be an engineering graduate, preferably with Chemical Engineering background, having 20+ years of experience in the field of loss prevention engineering in an Oil & Gas sector design consultancy. The candidate should possess good communication skills and should be a team player. Job responsibilities will include:

• Development of HSE design basis / philosophy
• Estimation of fire water/ foam system demand calculations/ fire water P&IDs
• Preparation of technical specifications for fire fighting and safety equipment
• Development of Hazardous Area Classification layouts
• Development of Fire and Gas detector layouts
• Development of Fire Fighting, Safety, Escape route and Safety sign layouts
• Experience in using consequence modelling software such as PHAST, FRED etc.
• Experience in Safety review such as HAZID, HAZOP etc.
• Experience in Technical evaluation of vendor bids

Qualifications

Engineering graduate, preferably with Chemical Engineering background, with 20+ years of experience in loss prevention engineering in an Oil & Gas sector design consultancy. The candidate should possess good communication skills and should be a team player.

Candidates having experience of working in offshore projects and safety studies are preferred. Kuwait oil and energy experience will be an added advantage.
