Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 5 years of experience in an Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) sales role.
  • 4 years of experience with traditional enterprise data-center technologies, including relational databases, storage appliances, virtual machines, and private networks or 2 years of experience with cloud computing, including infrastructure, storage, platforms and data management.
  • 2 years of experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, or other software infrastructure areas.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 1 year of experience in technical leadership.

The Hyperdisk data protection and security team delivers enterprise-grade business continuity, security, compliance, backup, replication, data lifecycle, and durability for the most critical workloads and data in Google Compute Engine. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for a critical and rapidly growing part of the business, working closely with our customers and cross-functionally in GCP to define and deliver our future product direction.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Drive new block storage capabilities in security, data governance, and business continuity.
  • Work closely with partner teams, engineering, and marketing towards product goals and roadmap.
