Join BlackStone eIT as a Senior DBA, where you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our database environments to support business operations. In this position, you will leverage your expertise in database administration to ensure the database systems are highly available, secure, and performant. You will work alongside cross-functional teams, providing insights and technical support while implementing best practices in database management.
المهام الأساسية:

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of database systems, particularly Oracle databases
• Monitor and tune database performance to ensure high availability and optimized operations
• Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to protect critical data
• Implement security measures to safeguard databases against unauthorized access and threats
• Collaborate with developers to design and optimize database-driven applications
• Conduct regular database audits and troubleshooting to resolve performance and integrity issues
• Stay updated on database technologies and best practices, suggesting improvements for processes
• Document configuration, procedures, and policies related to database management

المتطلبات

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in database administration with significant exposure to Oracle database environments

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Oracle database installation, configuration, and administration
• Strong performance tuning and optimization expertise
• In-depth knowledge of backup and recovery procedures using RMAN
• Familiarity with database security best practices
• Experience with monitoring tools and performance metrics
• Understanding of high availability solutions, such as Oracle RAC
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills are essential
