Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Advance Expertise in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After effects) and familiarity with audio editing tools
• Compile and edit video footage according to the project’s requirements, ensuring a cohesive and engaging final product
• Perform colour correction, sound editing, sound bites and visual effects to enhance the final video. Familiarity with various video formats, codes, and compression standards for different platforms
• Organize and archive completed projects for future reference, ensuring easy retrieval of assets and footage
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide creative solutions during the editing process
• Understanding various social media platforms and their specific requirements for video content
• Producing highlight reels and recap videos for corporate events, conferences, and webinars
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently without compromising quality
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by broadcast schedules
• Primarily office-based, with the possibility on-site postproduction events

Formal Education

Bachelors degree in film production, Media Arts, Communications, or a related field preferred; relevant work experience may substitute for formal education

Work Experience

• 3-5 years of video editing experience in a corporate, agency, live events, broadcast production
• UAE/GCC experience preferred, with a robust portfolio showcasing diverse editing styles

Skills & Knowledge

• Use editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, Da Vinci Resolve, After Effect, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator) proficiently
• Trainings and certificates are and advantages
