• Review and validate façade concept designs for performance, constructability, cost efficiency, and compliance.
• Unitized curtain wall systems
• Stick curtain wall systems
• Skylights and atriums
• Aluminum cladding and composite panels
• Louvers and shading devices
• Local building codes
• International standards (ASTM, AAMA, CWCT, EN, BS)
• Wind load requirements (including wind tunnel study integration)
• Seismic movement criteria
• Thermal and acoustic performance requirements
• Fire and life safety regulations
• Coordinate façade interfaces with structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines.

2. Shop Drawing & Technical Submittal Management

• Review and approve:
• Shop drawings
• Structural calculations
• Thermal analysis reports
• Method statements
• Anchoring systems
• Waterproofing and drainage
• Thermal breaks and condensation control
• Verify compatibility of façade systems with adjacent materials and structural elements.

3. Material Submittals & Technical Approvals

• Review and approve material submittals including:
• Aluminum profiles and finishes
• Gaskets and sealants
• Fixings and anchors
• Insulation materials
• Fire stopping materials
• Evaluate supplier certifications and warranties.
• Ensure long-term durability, corrosion resistance, and UV performance suitable for project climate.

4. Performance Testing & Mock-Ups

• Performance mock-ups
• Supervise laboratory testing (if required):
• Air infiltration
• Water penetration (static & dynamic)
• Structural performance under wind pressure
• Seismic simulation
• Thermal performance
• Witness and approve on-site testing.
• Review and resolve test failures with root cause analysis and corrective action plans.

5. Execution & Site Supervision

• Monitor:
• Alignment and tolerances
• Anchoring and fixing integrity
• Coordinate with main contractor and façade subcontractors.
• Conduct routine inspections and issue NCRs where required.
• Monitor fabrication factory visits and quality assurance processes.

6. Cleaning & Maintenance Strategy

• Coordinate integration of:
• Building Maintenance Units (BMU)
• Davits and monorail systems
• Safe access for cleaning

المتطلبات

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil, or Structural Engineering
• 12+ years of experience in façade engineering with multi-project exposure
• Experience in Shop drawing and technical submittal review (including structural calculations, thermal analysis, method statements), Material submittals review (aluminum profiles, glass, gasket, sealant, insulation, fixing accessories), performance testing, mockups (visual mock ups, performance mock ups, laboratory testing, site testing, etc.).
• Must have experience in execution and site supervision, and control over quality of façade installation (monitor installation, alignments, anchoring/fixing, glazing procedures, etc.).
• Experience in coordination with Main Contractor and Facade sub-contractor.
