• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in the FPGA/Microcontroller Firmware Development.
• DO254 Firmware Development Standards.
• Experience in Electric circuits and PCB design.
• Knowledge of software/firmware system/subsystem design with application in the precision guided munition domain.
• Electronic/Software Eng. degree. (Bachelor, Honors, Masters is an advantage.)

Key responsibilities:

• Providing guidance to design teams wrt technical specification of software/firmware design especially considering international standards, practices, and certification.
• Providing guidance to technical design teams regarding evaluation, testing practices and methods and coding.
• Implementation of sound and advanced engineering practices. Organize and chair design reviews. Firmware Requirement Specifications and Interface Control Specifications.
• Specialist knowledge regarding selection and application of hardware devices applicable to Firmware.
• Mentoring and training of junior technical personnel.
• Provides inputs to management regarding future software requirements and needs. Assist in the generation of a technology horizon plan that includes resources and software development tools.
