The Role

The Network Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting the organization’s network infrastructure. This role ensures high availability, performance, security, and scalability of network services across LAN, WAN, Firewalls, ISE, data centers, and cloud environments. The Network Lead also provides leadership to the network team, coordinates with vendors and regions, and ensures alignment with organizational goals.

What You Will Be Doing

Strategy & Architecture

• To have good experience in developing & maintaining the Network Strategy & Architecture of a mid-size global network.
• To implement scalable and secure architectures to support business growth.
• Understanding new technologies and how they fit into our organization.
• To Design, Configure, and deploy enterprise-level network solutions (Granular Policies, LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, ISE, Firewalls, Cloud Connectivity, HA, URL filtering, and security policies).

Network Operations & Support

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance.
• Ensure the uptime, availability, and reliability of critical network services.
• Deploy, Configure, Manage, and Troubleshoot next-gen Firewalls & Solutions with advanced security features.
• Manage incident, problem, and change management processes related to networking.
• Improve the Network configuration so that it helps in secure traffic flow and management.
• Reasonable understanding of Active Directory integration with the Network.

Key experiences

• Experienced in configuring, troubleshooting, and implementing FortiGate firewall components like ADVPN, HA, VPNs, URL filtering, SD-WAN, security policies, site-to-site, remote access VPNs, and SAML authentication for users
• Configure and manage Azure networking components (VNets, subnets, NSGs, VPN Gateway, peering, and firewall policies).
• Manage and monitor Cisco ISE for authentication, TACACS+, and dynamic VLAN assignment
• Good understanding of ZTNA framework and SD-WAN.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with service providers, hardware/software vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend upgrades or replacements.
• Manage licensing, contracts, and procurement of network hardware/software.

Compliance & Security Management

• Maintain audit logs and represent audit meetings with required findings.
• Implement and maintain a robust patch management process for network devices.
• Ensure timely deployment of security updates and patches across systems.
• Monitor patch compliance and address vulnerabilities proactively.

• Prepare reports on health systems, performance metrics, and compliance.

Good understanding of ITIL process

• Clarity of ITIL operation and related processes.
• Educate users on our existing ticketing process and adhere to it.
• Timely closure of tickets and service requests

What We Are Looking For

Some of the key competencies required for the role include:

Functional

• Hands-on experience, experienced in configuring, troubleshooting, and implementing FortiGate firewall components like ADVPN, HA, VPNs, URL filtering, SD-WAN, security policies, site-to-site, remote access VPNs, and SAML authentication for users
• Configure and manage Azure networking components (VNets, subnets, NSGs, VPN Gateway, peering, and firewall policies).
• Manage and monitor Cisco ISE for authentication, TACACS+, and dynamic VLAN assignment.
• Experience with user account management, group policies, and OU
• Good understanding of the ZTNA framework and SD-WAN.
• Minimum 5-6 years’ experience.

Our Ideal Match

• Engineering degree in Computers or E&TC, or related field
• 5–6 years of experience
• CCNA/CCNP certification/ Azure networking
• English and Hindi language proficiency
