Overview

Senior Safety Engineer role at Dicetek LLC . This position is based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The candidate should be an engineering graduate (preferably Chemical Engineering) with 13+ years of experience in loss prevention engineering in an Oil & Gas sector design consultancy. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.

المسؤوليات

• Development of HSE design basis / philosophy
• Estimation of fire water / foam system demand calculations and fire water P&IDs
• Preparation of technical specifications for firefighting and safety equipment
• Development of Hazardous Area Classification layouts
• Development of Fire and Gas detector layouts
• Development of Fire Fighting, Safety, Escape route and Safety sign layouts
• Experience in using consequence modelling software such as PHAST, FRED, etc.
• Experience in safety reviews such as HAZID, HAZOP
• Experience in technical evaluation of vendor bids

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate, preferably Chemical Engineering
• 13+ years in loss prevention engineering in an Oil & Gas sector design consultancy
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Candidates having experience of working on offshore projects and safety studies are preferred.
