Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development with Kotlin, or a combination of Kotlin and Java.
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
- 5 years of experience with Android application development.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- 3 years of experience working in an organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

The Android Toolkit team delivers libraries and tools that help Android developers build apps easily. Our products include Jetpack Compose, a new modern UI Toolkit based on Kotlin and declarative programming, as well as the suite of Architecture Components libraries that help developers build modern Android apps.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. المسؤوليات
- Contribute to brainstorming new ideas for features in Jetpack Compose and the broader Toolkit domain.
- Build new functionality in the Jetpack Compose and Architecture Components codebases and occasionally in the Views (Android platform) codebase.
- Mentor junior engineers in their work and design.
- Work and iterate on API design with input from the team and community.
- Contribute to libraries used by all Android App developers and help build a better developer experience for Android.
