Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in program management.
Preferred qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in networking environments.
- Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams and product management and cross-functional program management skills, including program life-cycle management.
- Knowledge in networking and co-location infrastructure and Proficiency in analyzing/manipulating spreadsheet data, generating reports, and in database queries.

Ability to perform ad-hoc Go, Python and SQL style scripting.
- Excellent communication skills, including ability to present results to a broad range of audiences spanning engineers, product managers, and executives.
- Excellent problem-solving, quantitative, and presentation skills.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You’re equally comfortable explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
As a Senior Technical Program Manager thought leader in Global Network Operations, you will be a strategic leader driving cross-functional governance, process re-engineering, and complex program execution across the entire network risk life-cycle from planning and design to deployment and operations risks. You will partner closely with network engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), capacity planning, and network deployment to connect signals across the network and eliminate operational drag. You will act as the honest broker, leveraging customer empathy and deep technical knowledge to prioritize the most critical structural and operational risks in the network. You possess deep expertise in network problem domains combined with advanced networking or systems engineering acumen. You will create order out of ambiguity, translating highly technical network concerns into rigorous, scalable programs that protect business and enhance Google’s engaged advantage at the edge of the cloud.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $192,000-$278,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
