We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Engineer with extensive experience in Kafka , containerization , و cloud-native development to join the Group Information Technology division of a leading UAE-based bank.

You will be part of a dynamic team driving large-scale, event-driven, and streaming platforms across the bank’s technology ecosystem. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge distributed systems , helping build high-performance solutions for mission-critical banking services.

المهام الأساسية:

• Design, develop, and manage Kafka-based streaming platforms with a focus on high-throughput , low-latency , و resiliency .
• Implement and manage containerized solutions on OpenShift/Kubernetes .
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Kaniko, Shipwright .
• Work with streaming data sets and design event-driven architectures .
• Manage public cloud environments (Azure or OCI), cloud-native applications, and automation.
• Contribute to security engineering and compliance, ensuring data integrity, encryption, and privacy.
• Optimize distributed systems for performance and resiliency .
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to deliver solutions in an iterative and incremental way.
• Conduct automated unit and integration testing to maintain system stability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in distributed services ecosystems.

Technical Skills Required:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in development & design:
  Kafka setup, configuration, and tuning for high-performance environments
  OpenShift/Kubernetes , Docker
  CI/CD tools : Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHub, GitOps practices
  Linux OS , shell scripting
  Public Cloud (preferably Azure or OCI )
  Strong expertise in event-driven architectures and streaming data
  Experience with distributed systems , network fundamentals , and tuning
  Good understanding of security engineering and data compliance requirements
  Familiarity with distributed resiliency & monitoring
  Good to have: Apache Flink , Kafka Streams , Apache Spark , Apache Beam

Educational Qualifications:
Degree or Postgraduate in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
