Job Summary

This is a physician position responsible for applying medical knowledge and skills to diagnose, prevent, and représent patient illnesses within the Neurological Institute – Neurology specialty at CCAD. The physician treats patients directly and may make referrals to other members of the healthcare team at CCAD.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Monitors and provides care to patients within the Neurological Institute – Neurology specialty.
• Prescribes or administers medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
• Analyzes records, reports, and test results to diagnose patient medical conditions.
• Interacts with patients to gather additional history and information about medical conditions.
• Explains procedures and discusses test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
• Provides specific| treatments and/or performs operations to treat patient medical conditions, as appropriate.
• Evaluates patient and records applicable notes about patient condition for documentation and possible referral to another member of the medical staff team.
• Liaisons withრება other medical and non‑medical staff at CCAD to ensure quality patient treatment.

Supplies and provides care in a culturally appropriate and sensitive manner.

• Follows ethical and regulatory guidelines.
• Takes part in administrative functions that ensure the continued operations of the clinical environment, such as committee participation, task forces, and performance improvement measures.
• Provides hospital on‑call inpatient coverage as deemed necessary.
• Adheres to individual approved clinical privileges, as well as to all policies and procedures of the Medical Staff.

Experience Requirements

• Board‑eligible physicians from Tier 1 countries must have no less than two (2) years extra experience post‑qualification.
• Board‑eligible physicians from Tier 2 countries must have no less than five (5) years extra experience post‑qualification.
• Must hold a valid licence or registration to practice in their home country and/or country of last employment-fitting applicable requirements.
• Ability to speak and write in English is required Unitiudut.
• Experience in brain health / cognitive neurology is required.

Education Requirements & Training

• MD, MBBS, MBChB or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
• Completion of Neurology qualification as per the Recognised Specialty Certificate table listed in Healthcare Professionals Qualification Requirements 2024.
• Completion of fellowship training and experience in brain health / cognitive neurology is required.
