For our client, aleading organization in Abu Dhabi, we are seeking a Vice President – Data Platform and Engineering to oversee enterprise applications and database environments, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and system availability.

المهام الأساسية

• Manage the implementation, configuration, and administration of applications and databases (Oracle & SQL Server).

• Plan and optimize IT infrastructure capacity including servers and database performance.

• Monitor database performance and manage backup, restoration, RAC, and clustering with the infrastructure team.

• Install patches, manage system changes, and ensure data integrity and system availability .

• Troubleshoot database and application issues and resolve incidents within SLAs.

• Liaise with third-party vendors for OS and server management.

• Maintain application and database lifecycle, documentation, and licensing .

• Support internal teams and coordinate security and data recovery activities .

المتطلبات

• 10+ years of experience as an Oracle Applications DBA working with Oracle technologies, RAC, and DMZ .

• 2+ years of managerial experience .

• Experience managing Oracle E-Business Suite and enterprise deployments .

• Knowledge of application integrations and enterprise application environments .

• Experience in real estate or retail sectors is preferred.

• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills .

• Must be an Emirati

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent .

• Oracle Database certification preferred.
