Job Title: VP – Engineering (EPCI) – Dubai

Job Type: Full Time

Staff role, reports to SVP

Role Overview

Provide executive leadership and governance for multi-discipline EPC engineering delivery across a portfolio of projects. Accountable for engineering strategy, technical integrity, resource planning, productivity, and integration with procurement, construction, and commissioning functions.

The role supports business growth through bid support, capability development, and engineering transformation initiatives. Typical projects undertaken are FPSO or offshore HVDC.

Engineering Strategy & Governance

  • Define and implement engineering strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Establish engineering operating model, review gates, and technical assurance processes.
  • Drive standardization, modularization, and digital engineering initiatives.
  • Ensure effective interface management across disciplines and project teams.

Operational Leadership

  • Ensure adequate resource allocation for both tenders and live projects.
  • Monitor engineering productivity, progress, and cost performance.
  • Maintain governance across internal and external engineering centers.

Technical Assurance

  • Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project specifications.
  • Provide oversight on complex technical issue resolution.
  • Ensure constructability and commissioning integration in designs.

Talent & Organization

  • Lead recruitment, succession planning, and competency development.
  • Develop standardized job frameworks and performance management processes.
  • Support global engineering delivery models and mobility programs.

Commercial & Project Support

  • Support bid preparation and engineering estimates.
  • Ensure engineering deliverables are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Interface with clients, third-party reviewers, and classification authorities as required.

Candidate Profile

  • 18–25+ years in EPC engineering environments.
  • 8–10+ years in senior engineering leadership roles.
  • Strong background in offshore, marine, energy, or industrial EPC projects.
  • Experience managing large multi-discipline teams and engineering centers.
  • Proven record in engineering governance and productivity improvement.
