This is a perfect role for someone ready to step up into leadership, hire a small team, and scale a practice to 5\u201310 people. <\/p>\n<p>You will lead the intelligence layer of our marketplace, powering personalization, search\/ranking, pricing, demand forecasting, inventory optimization, marketing science, and real\u2011time agentic AI. You\u2019ll partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Commercial to turn data into measurable business outcomes. <\/p>\n<h3>What You Will Lead <\/h3>\n<h3>1. Strategy &#038; Leadership <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Own and execute the data science strategy tied to growth KPIs (acquisition, activation, AOV, repeat rate, margin). <\/li>\n<li>Build a roadmap balancing fast iteration with long\u2011term foundations (feature store, real\u2011time inference, experimentation). <\/li>\n<li>Hire and develop a multi\u2011disciplinary DS\/ML\/MLOps team. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>2. Customer Insights &#038; Personalization <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver multi\u2011objective personalization across web\/app surfaces. <\/li>\n<li>Build recommenders, search relevance, semantic search, and LTR models. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>3. Pricing &#038; Merchandising Science <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead dynamic pricing, elasticity models, and competitive price\u2011matching. <\/li>\n<li>Optimize promotions, assortment, and attribute coverage. <\/li>\n<li>Apply causal inference for pricing\/promo impact. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>4. Forecasting &#038; Inventory Optimization <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Build multi\u2011layer forecasting models for buying and replenishment. <\/li>\n<li>Develop availability, stockout, returns\/refund, and supply\u2011chain efficiency models. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>5. Marketing Science &#038; Experimentation <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Own full\u2011funnel attribution, incrementality, and ROAS optimization. <\/li>\n<li>Lead always\u2011on experimentation with rigorous guardrails. <\/li>\n<li>Deliver LTV, CAC, churn, and audience segmentation models. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>6. Agentic AI &#038; Automation <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Build real\u2011time agentic systems for merchandising, pricing, and operations. <\/li>\n<li>Implement human\u2011in\u2011the\u2011loop workflows and feedback loops for continuous learning. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>7. Catalog Quality &#038; Trust <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Apply CV\/NLP for enrichment, duplication, attribute extraction, and size mapping. <\/li>\n<li>Build fraud\/abuse detection with explainability and review layers. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>8.
