{"id":48365,"date":"2025-11-15T12:37:11","date_gmt":"2025-11-15T08:37:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/herecareers.com\/job\/resident-engineer-waterfront-project-15-years-experience\/"},"modified":"2025-11-15T12:37:12","modified_gmt":"2025-11-15T08:37:12","slug":"resident-engineer-waterfront-project-15-years-experience","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/herecareers.com\/ar\/job\/resident-engineer-waterfront-project-15-years-experience\/","title":{"rendered":"Resident Engineer (Waterfront Project), 15+ Years\u2019 Experience"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>411_2313954<\/p>\n<h3>Resident Engineer (Waterfront Project), 15+ Years\u2019 Experience <\/h3>\n<p>RMJM is seeking to appoint a Resident Engineer for a Waterfront Project, to support the continued growth of our Abu Dhabi Studio. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to: <\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee daily on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols. <\/li>\n<li>Lead and direct site teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and laborers, to maintain workflow efficiency. <\/li>\n<li>Review design drawings and IFC documents, identifying discrepancies or potential issues early (strong detail-oriented skills required). <\/li>\n<li>Monitor progress against schedules, reporting delays or risks to project management with mitigation plans. <\/li>\n<li>Conduct inspections, snagging, and QA\/QC checks, ensuring work aligns with approved materials and methodologies. <\/li>\n<li>Chair site coordination meetings, resolving technical clashes and ensuring stakeholder alignment. <\/li>\n<li>Enforce HSE regulations and uphold RMJM\u2019s standards for excellence. <\/li>\n<li>Deliver the iconic waterfront project on time, within budget, and to RMJM\u2019s exacting quality standards. <\/li>\n<li>Enforce 100% compliance with design specs, Abu Dhabi codes, and international best practices. <\/li>\n<li>Lead on-site decisively; resolve conflicts, preempt issues, and keep construction on critical path. <\/li>\n<li>Maintain a zero-incident site through relentless HSE leadership. <\/li>\n<li>Bridge all stakeholders; align contractors, clients, and designers to avoid delays. <\/li>\n<li>Drive innovation; propose value engineering solutions that save costs without compromising quality. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure flawless handover with complete documentation for operational success. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Skills: <\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s\/Master\u2019s in Civil\/Structural Engineering (Chartered status preferred). <\/li>\n<li>15+ years in resident engineering, including 5+ years in the UAE\/GCC on infrastructure\/waterfront projects (marinas, piers, utilities). <\/li>\n<li>Mastery of construction sequencing \u2013 Ability to optimize workflows under high pressure. <\/li>\n<li>Design-to-build expertise \u2013 Keen eye for spotting design flaws, constructability issues, and cost-saving opportunities. <\/li>\n<li>Leadership presence \u2013 Commands respect from workers to executives; fluent in English (Arabic advantageous). <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions: <\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On-site based (Abu Dhabi), Full-time, Monday to Saturday <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We thank all applicants for their interest.
