Our client – one of the largest banks in the UAE is currently looking for a Technical Lead for the Card Management Systems application support team. This is a permanent role and will be based in the Head Office in Abu Dhabi. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This is a management position and the successful candidate will be leading the Cards Processing Systems application support team of 5 (including two Senior Technical Analysts). You will report into the Group Leader for Delivery Channels Support. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

A strong technical background in card management systems is essential as your technical input is crucial, especially when handling incidents and making decisions. The role involves: <\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Performance management of the team (including monthly reviews) <\/li>\n
  2. Building yearly objectives for the team <\/li>\n
  3. Attending management meetings <\/li>\n
  4. Training staff <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Minimum Requirements: <\/b> <\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Degree in IT\/Computer Science <\/li>\n
    2. Sound leadership skills <\/li>\n
    3. A minimum of 12 years in IT Applications industry <\/li>\n
    4. Minimum of 8 years of experience in Card Management Systems (Authorization, Switching, Issuing and Acquiring) <\/li>\n
    5. Knowledge of VISA and MasterCard Platforms is a must. <\/li>\n
    6. Experience in Core Banking applications is a plus. <\/li>\n
    7. Oracle Database experience is a must. <\/li>\n
    8. Experience in Unix \/ Linux is a great plus. <\/li>\n
    9. Thorough knowledge in Settlement, Card Issuance, Card Delivery and Statement Generation processes is a must. <\/li>\n
    10. Thorough Knowledge in POS Applications and POS Management Systems is a must. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
