Product Manager is required by the leading IT solutions company based in Dubai to focus on product management.
\u2022 Responsible for overall commercial success and profitability of IT Solutions products.
\u2022 Maintain a strong technical knowledge of IT Solutions product offerings, coordinate with R&D regarding product enhancements and modifications and liaise the marketing activities for his products.
\u2022 Propose the pricing guidelines and support pre-sales activities.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES <\/b>
\u2022 Provide inputs for the division\u2019s plans and operational budget.
\u2022 Ensure compliance with all legal, contractual, audit, regulatory, risk management and safety requirements and procedures, especially in respect of IP confidentiality and related risks.
\u2022 Maintain efficiency and cost effectiveness of all processes by ensuring that all the technology needs of the business unit are addressed (in coordination with Corporate IT).
\u2022 Develop a product strategy and business case for each product within her\/his portfolio and ensure they meet the strategic objectives of the Company.
\u2022 Responsible for collecting information on customer needs and technology trends in the target sectors and compile a report showcasing a complete understanding of competitor offerings, including pricing and technology trends.
\u2022 Develop an exhaustive SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis for each product to identify necessary improvements.
\u2022 Build and maintain IT Solutions\u2019 product value proposition. Manage product profitability through proposing product price guidelines to the Director of Product Development & Marketing.
\u2022 Evaluate new product development or change requests in terms of added value. Recommend selectively to the Director of Product Development & Marketing any requests for developments and\/or enhancements.
\u2022 Educate the client and local partners about the company’s IT Software solutions through presentations and marketing materials.<\/p>\n
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS <\/b>
\u2022 Bachelor in Marketing, Product Management and\/or Engineering.
\u2022 Five to eight (5-8) years of relevant experience.
\u2022 IT Industry exposure in the UAE focusing on Government.
\u2022 Willing to travel GCC.
\u2022 Ideally Arabic speaker.
\u2022 Familiar with IT solutions (e-gov, e-customs, e-payments, e-service or other IT solutions). <\/p>\n
