This position is based in Basra, Iraq, on a rotational basis, and you will work under the supervision of the Environmental Laboratory Manager. <\/p>\n<p><b>\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0633\u0624\u0648\u0644\u064a\u0627\u062a: <\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform organic and inorganic testing on GC-FID, Headspace GC-MS, GC-MS\/MS, ICP-OES, and IC for water and soil samples to detect and quantify hydrocarbons, volatiles, pesticides, etc. <\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience collection, preservation, and transportation of water samples to maintain their integrity. <\/li>\n<li>Develop new methods and protocols to enhance laboratory capabilities for water and soil samples. <\/li>\n<li>Conduct validation and measurement uncertainty studies for organic and inorganic parameters in the lab. <\/li>\n<li>Implement quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytical analyses. <\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience in preparing and storing standard solutions and other reagents required for organic, inorganic, and wet chemistry analysis in water and soil samples. <\/li>\n<li>Perform daily, weekly, and monthly checks as per ISO\/APHA methods. <\/li>\n<li>Conduct QA\/QC checks and standardization as directed by the section in-charge or Lab Manager. <\/li>\n<li>Calibrate and verify instruments internally as instructed by the section in-charge or Lab Manager. <\/li>\n<li>Perform routine wet chemistry analysis for parameters such as BOD, COD, ammonia, sulfide, TDS, etc. <\/li>\n<li>Maintain a clean laboratory environment at all times. <\/li>\n<li>Adhere to international standards ISO\/IEC 17025, local government requirements, GLP, and other relevant laboratory safety standards. <\/li>\n<li>Conduct risk assessments to identify potential sources of contamination and develop mitigation strategies. <\/li>\n<li>Notify the Lab Manager of non-conformances and assist with follow-up actions. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0647\u0627\u0631\u0627\u062a \u0627\u0644\u0645\u0637\u0644\u0648\u0628\u0629: <\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BS\/MSc in Chemistry. <\/li>\n<li>Minimum 2 years experience in the Analytical Laboratory. <\/li>\n<li>Should have excellent instrument knowledge. <\/li>\n<li>Should have knowledge in international standard ISO\/IEC 17025:2017. <\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills. <\/li>\n<li>Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Excel &#038;
