for selecting, testing, and managing construction materials to ensure the safety, durability, and cost-effectiveness of the projects. <\/p>\n<h3>Duties and Responsibilities <\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Source and evaluate construction materials, with expertise in materials properties and experience with park structures. <\/li>\n<li>Select and specify appropriate materials such as concrete, steel, aggregates, furniture, and equipment. <\/li>\n<li>Evaluate material performance under various environmental conditions to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards. <\/li>\n<li>Conduct tests (compression, tensile, durability, chemical) to validate material quality. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure all materials meet standards like ASTM, BS, and ISO. <\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with testing agencies for validation and certification. <\/li>\n<li>Assess and approve suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery. <\/li>\n<li>Monitor material delivery schedules and address supply chain issues. <\/li>\n<li>Perform site inspections for proper handling and storage of materials. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Job Requirements <\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in civil engineering, Material Science, or related field with attested certificate. <\/li>\n<li>At least 10 years of experience in large-scale construction projects as a Material Engineer. <\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in material testing procedures and standards. <\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills. <\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of construction practices, codes, and regulations. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>
