Key Accountabilities <\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Assumes the role of Incident Commander at small-scale and non-protracted incidents. <\/li>\n
  2. Assumes the role of Sector Commander at large-scale and protracted incidents. <\/li>\n
  3. Leads\/Manages the crew of their assigned vehicles or equipment in the performance of all firefighting, rescue, or other required duties. <\/li>\n
  4. Directs the positioning of his vehicles, the deployment of his crew and equipment, and manages tasks in response to emergency incidents. <\/li>\n
  5. Responsible for the operation of his vehicles’ radio communications and for coordination with other emergency services vehicles. <\/li>\n
  6. Assists in the ongoing mandatory competency-based fire training of fire and rescue service personnel as required, ensuring all records are maintained. <\/li>\n
  7. Manages daily station duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment, actively promoting health, safety, welfare, and environmentally safe practices. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Specific Requirements <\/p>\n

      \n
    1. At least a High School Graduate. <\/li>\n
    2. Must be certified competent in role and qualified to a Rescue & Firefighting Service standard recognized by international (IFSAC \/ Pro Board) and\/or regional regulatory bodies. <\/li>\n
    3. Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) \u2013 proficient in word processing, reports, and compiling documents into standard formats. <\/li>\n
    4. Certified \u2018Medically Fit\u2019 for the role. <\/li>\n
    5. Demonstrable experience in fire\/rescue services including 1 year as a Crew Chief \/ Crew Manager. <\/li>\n
    6. Valid light vehicle operator license in the UAE. <\/li>\n
    7. Valid heavy vehicle operator license in the UAE. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
