The position is responsible for supporting the Supply Chain General Manager in various tasks and<br \/>this role involves managing inventory, monitoring transportation, and ensuring efficient logistics processes. The<br \/>role demands a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to navigate and resolve logistical<br \/>challenges effectively. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Role &#038; Responsibilities <\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>1. Support in developing and implementing Logistics plans in line with corporate Logistics strategy to<br \/>support overall business objectives.<br \/>2. Handle operations related to logistics &#8211; KPI, inventory, transport, Integration of information &#038; customer<br \/>requirements.<br \/>3. Assist in evaluating the performance of vendors and make recommendations for improvements.<br \/>4. Establish and maintain relationships with logistics service providers, assist in negotiating contracts and<br \/>ensuring cost-effectiveness while implementing 3rd part logistics performance measurements.<br \/>5. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimum inventory levels at all times with key focus to<br \/>avoid aging inventory situation.<br \/>6. Implement inventory control measures to minimize damages during storage, transportation and ensure<br \/>accurate record-keeping.<br \/>7. Oversee preparation and maintenance of shipping and customs documentation while ensuring<br \/>compliance with international customs regulations for EXIM.<br \/>8. Maintain accurate records of shipments, tracking information, and other relevant logistics data.<br \/>9. Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them by proactively<br \/>addressing issues related to transportation, customs, and other logistics challenges. <\/p>\n<p>10. Supervise and lead a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance by conducting regular training<br \/>sessions to enhance the skills of the logistics team.<br \/>11. Implement best practices to enhance the overall efficiency of the logistics operations with proven ability to<br \/>resolve critical issues to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction.<br \/>12.
