In this position, you will be expected to support our Magento code base and develop innovative solutions for e-commerce website following industry \u201cbest practices. <\/p>\n<p><strong>IDEAL CANDIDATE <\/strong> <\/p>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience Requirements <\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years PHP web development experience. <\/li>\n<li>3+ year\u2019s real-world e-commerce experience with Magento. <\/li>\n<li>2+ years\u2019 experience with Linux servers. <\/li>\n<li>Magento Enterprise 1.x and 2.x experience a must. <\/li>\n<li>Experience with object-oriented programming &#038; MVC applications. <\/li>\n<li>Experience relational databases and MySQL. <\/li>\n<li>Expert understanding of Magento\u2019s code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy and components. <\/li>\n<li>Expertise in authoring and extending Magento extensions. Working experience in customizing Magento\u2019s front-end components using layout XML, blocks, and templates <\/li>\n<li>Thorough knowledge of Magento feature set and configuration. <\/li>\n<li>Competent knowledge of e-commerce data organization and relationships. <\/li>\n<li>Competent in API integration. <\/li>\n<li>Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks. <\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communications skills. <\/li>\n<li>Analytical and critical thinking, detail oriented and problem solving. <\/li>\n<li>Magento Certification is a plus <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Skills and Experience <\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement innovative and secure features and functionality for e-commerce. <\/li>\n<li>Apply knowledge in Magento and PHP to extend, enhance and build great user experiences. <\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot, research and analyze issues to solve problems. <\/li>\n<li>Provide daily technical support for the e-commerce, including troubleshooting and debugging issues. <\/li>\n<li>Work with cross functional teams to support customer requests. <\/li>\n<li>Write and modify scripts for systems monitoring, event detection and data integration. <\/li>\n<li>Assist in server deployment, upgrades and version release management. <\/li>\n<li>Provide timely and excellent customer service to the stakeholders. <\/li>\n<li>Performs daily and periodic system support tasks to ensure continuous systems operation. <\/li>\n<li>Be aware of and follow company IT and security policies. <\/li>\n<li>Collaborates with various teams and vendors on solutions. <\/li>\n<li>Works with project managers and business analysts on documenting processes related to current and new functionality across systems. <\/li>\n<li>Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures. <\/li>\n<li>Performs other related duties and assignments as required. <\/li>\n<li>Initiative, proactive, self-directed <\/li>\n<li>Results-driven, goal-oriented <\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage and prioritize against aggressive deadlines;
