This role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting business decisions through insightful financial reporting. Financial Mastery: Prepare P&L statements, balance sheets & cash flow reports
Freight Expertise: Handle specialized ocean & air freight accounting
Global Operations: Manage multi-currency transactions & FX accounting
Compliance Champion: Ensure tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions
Cost Analysis: Monitor vessel costs, handling charges & operational expenses
Customer Relations: Manage accounts receivable & credit terms <\/p>\n
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting\/Finance
Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA) preferred
3-5 years accounting experience in UAE
Logistics\/freight forwarding background is a PLUS!
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
ERP systems experience (SAP, QuickBooks)
IFRS & local GAAP knowledge <\/p>\n
