Job Description \/ Role <\/strong> <\/p>\n

Existing System Analysis: <\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Map the current application developed in SAS. <\/li>\n
  2. Identify dependencies, business rules, and critical processes. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Migration Design: <\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. Propose a target architecture in Python aligned with Suadeo’s DataMesh strategy and federated governance. <\/li>\n
    2. Contribute to drafting technical specifications. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Development and Optimization: <\/h3>\n
        \n
      1. Convert SAS scripts to Python using best practices in data engineering. <\/li>\n
      2. Optimize data flow performance by leveraging relevant Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Dask, PySpark, etc., as needed). <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Testing and Validation: <\/h3>\n
          \n
        1. Ensure the integrity of results after script conversion. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: <\/h3>\n
            \n
          1. Write technical documentation on new scripts and data pipelines. <\/li>\n
          2. Train internal teams on new Python practices to ensure full tool adoption. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            TECHNICAL SKILLS: <\/h3>\n

            1. Strong expertise in SAS: ability to create complex scripts, use macros, and manage analytical models. <\/li>\n
            2. Proficiency in Python: especially for migrating ETL pipelines or statistical models. <\/li>\n
            3. Familiarity with Python libraries for data manipulation and analysis (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy). <\/li>\n
            4. Knowledge of cloud environments and Kubernetes (an asset for integration into containerized systems). <\/li>\n
            5. Experience with version control tools (Git, GitLab). <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              ABOUT YOU: <\/h3>\n

              1. Ability to work collaboratively in an agile SAFe environment. <\/li>\n
              2. Autonomy and proactivity in identifying and solving issues. <\/li>\n

                PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: <\/h3>\n

                1. Master’s degree (Bac +5) in computer science, statistics, or equivalent. <\/li>\n
                2. At least 5 years of experience working on projects involving SAS and Python. <\/li>\n
                3. Experience in similar migration projects is highly valued. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
